There’s no denying this is a real estate market in flux. After a couple of years of unsustainable growth and frenzied activity, buyers and sellers are taking a moment to pause amid higher interest rates and slightly higher inventory. But don’t expect any freefalls anytime soon, as that aforementioned inventory remains relatively tight and lenders and sellers are getting creative about reducing the burden of those higher interest rates.

And some of those trends that were brought on by the pandemic—people moving further from their offices, spending more time in more rural areas—are now just a regular part of life, fueling buying all around the globe.
